Arsenal Told To Play Ace Who "Frightens Defenders" Rather Than "Predictable" Bukayo Saka

Arsenal have been told to play Noni Madueke rather than Bukayo Saka heading into their next game against Wolves.

The Gunners are preparing for a Premier League clash against bottom-of-the-league Wolves, which could help them extend their lead at the top of the table. Arsenal have a two-point lead over Manchester City after they lost to Aston Villa last weekend.

Mikel Arteta will be pleased though, as they managed to get back to winning ways during the week with a win in the Champions League 3-0 against Club Brugge. During that game Noni Madueke was the real star of the show.

Madueke scored two goals, including one where he managed to take on three defenders, before putting the ball into the top corner to make it 1-0. He scored again, before Gabriel Martinelli made it 3-0 in the second half.

Heading into the game against Wolves, Arteta will have a decision to make on whether to start Madueke against Wolves at the Emirates.

Paul Parker tells Arsenal to play Madueke over Saka

Former Premier League defender Paul Parker has told Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta that he should play Noni Madueke ahead of the “predictable” Bukayo Saka moving forward.

Parker told Gambling Portal: “Arsenal have the players that can take opposition on, namely Declan Rice and Noni Madueke. Every time Madueke comes on, he’s got more about him than Bukayo Saka. Madueke frightens defenders and goes at people.

“Saka doesn’t bother defenders because they know what he’s going to do, he’s too predictable. He’s going to turn his back and try and fend you off and then either try to get a foul or pass it back.”

So far this season, Madueke has made 12 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, scoring three goals, all in the Champions League. Saka meanwhile has appeared in 18 games this season, scoring six goals, and providing two assists.
