Tottenham set to battle Chelsea and Manchester City for the signing of highly-rated talent from PEC Zwolle.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have witnessed their club move for some of the highly-regarded talents in world football since there was this transfer policy shift at Hotspur Way in recent years.
The acquisition of talents such as Destiny Udogie, Pape Matar Sarr, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, and so on have helped Spurs futureproof certain areas of the pitch. The race to sign top young talent is more intense than ever in English football, and the Lilywhites have a strong scouting network spread across the world working day and night to identify hidden gems.
Tottenham may seek a different approach in the transfer market after Daniel Levy’s exit back in September, but at least, it looks like they will not stop investing in prodigious talents.

PEC Zwolle sensation Jadiel Pereira da Gama on the radar of Tottenham
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City are leading the chase for PEC Zwolle talent Jadiel Pereira da Gama. The midfielder has also caught the attention of several European clubs with his mature displays at a tender age of 15.
Jadiel Pereira da Gama broke into the PEC Zwolle first-team this season, and at 15, he is the youngest player ever to feature in the Eredivisie. He is a special talent, considering the Dutchman is already rubbing shoulders with established players and senior pros in the Eredivisie. He has made six league appearances and has quickly become a part of Zwolle’s first-team furniture.
Should Pereira da Gama be sold to an English side, then the teenager would not be able to move across the channel until January 2028 due to Brexit rules.

Pereira da Gama could be a great long-term asset for Tottenham
With Yves Bissouma likely being shipped off in the upcoming winter transfer window after latest off-field controversy, there will be an opening for a new midfielder. Pereira da Gama, even if he is signed by Tottenham, will not be able to join the club immediately and potentially replace Bissouma in the roster. But, at 15, he could prove a long-term asset for the north Londoners.
The Netherlands Under-17 international should look to stay at Zwolle for a couple of seasons more and continue his development. If Spurs end up signing him in January, they could decide Pereira da Gama’s future by choosing his next destination- similar to what they did with Luka Vuskovic. However, given that Chelsea and Man City are also in the race, it would be difficult for Tottenham to sign the emerging Dutch talent.
