Jack Grealish has been a huge positive at Everton this season, but he could have just picked up an injury at the worst possible time.

Everton lost 2-0 against Chelsea on Saturday, as the Toffees began their busy Christmas calendar with a thump at Stamford Bridge.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall picked up what looks like a gutting hamstring injury, but the bad news may not have ended there for David Moyes.

Grealish was a shining light versus Chelsea, but the England international was replaced somewhat early.

Jack Grealish feels possible new injury

Grealish was replaced by Tyler Dibling in the second half, with Iliman Ndiaye also playing his last game before jetting off to AFCON.

Joe Thomas confirmed further negative news following the full-time whistle, with Moyes appearing to suggest that Grealish could be set for a spell on the sidelines after his early substitution.

“Concerns for Everton continue after defeat to Chelsea,” he wrote on X.

“*Moyes says Dewsbury-Hall’s injury needs assessing, but adds Grealish has felt a potential issue too.*“

Injuries taking over at Everton

This is exactly what Everton and Moyes don’t need.

With Ndiaye missing for possibly over a month and Dewsbury-Hall possibly pulling his hamstring, there are massive concerns in the final third.

Everton fans love Grealish, and his impact would only have grown around Christmas with the other developments previously mentioned.

Everton have a permanent agreement in place to sign Grealish from Manchester City, but any long-term blow could see that disappear.
