'Felt his hamstring': David Moyes says another Everton player suffered an injury as well as…

David Moyes may have just compounded the misery on Everton fans after sharing news of another potential injury blow.

Everton suffered a 2-0 defeat on Saturday away to Chelsea, which saw Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall withdrawn through injury.

It was the worst possible news Moyes could have wished for, or at least that was until he shared even more bad news after full time.

After the game, Moyes shared news of Dewsbury-Hall’s hamstring issue, but the Blues will need to investigate further.

Losing arguably your best player inside the opening 15 minutes is a disaster for any side in the Premier League.

However, Everton may have lost another star during that defeat at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking after the game, Moyes told the media that Grealish “felt his hamstring a little bit” before he was withdrawn late in the game.

Moyes hailed Grealish ahead of the game against Chelsea after how good he has been performing from the left wing.

Now, Moyes faces a home game against the league leaders next week potentially without Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye.

Tyler Dibling was mooted as Ndiaye’s replacement by Moyes and it now looks as if he will be almost guaranteed minutes over the coming weeks.

Everton could be set for real injury headache

With the Everton trio potentially set to be unavailable for a number of weeks, Moyes is going to have his work cut out.

Everton are ready to attack the January transfer window, but there are three games to play before that even opens up.

Who do YOU want to see more from at Everton with Ndiaye away and KDH likely out? 😫

Moyes has not shied away from playing Charly Alcaraz recently, but the Argentine could now be starting alongside the likes of Dibling and Dwight McNeil in the weeks to come.

The defeat against Chelsea was disappointing, but this injury news will feel like a monumental blow for Everton fans.
