Everton’s fine run of form came to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 defeat on the road against Chelsea.
It was 90 minutes that will have David Moyes frustrated as he makes his way back to Merseyside after some major blows for the Blues.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was withdrawn by Everton in the opening 13 minutes of the game with a suspected hamstring issue.
Everton are now missing Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye just to rub salt into the wounds of the 62-year-old manager.
During the game, Moyes and James Tarkowski were left absolutely furious with referee Thomas Bramall for something he missed.

Why Everton were left furious with the referee in Chelsea loss
Coming into the game, Moyes has pushed Everton to challenge for Europe, but missed a big opportunity to make a real statement.
Everton lacked a lot of quality in the final third, which will only be highlighted without Ndiaye and potentially Dewsbury-Hall going forward.

Reporting from Stamford Bridge, journalist Patrick Boyland spotted the moment that left Moyes and Tarkowski so frustrated with the young referee.
‘Moyes fuming. Gueye taken out in midfield by Enzo right in front of us. Play allowed to continue and move ends with Mykolenko blocking Neto’s shot. Then Ukrainian down for a bit,’ he said from the press box.
‘Nearly very costly (missed) decision. Tarkowski also has a word with referee Thomas Bramall.’
Sean Dyche thinks Tarkowski should have been sent off last week when Everton beat his Nottingham Forest side.
Just seven days on and it is the Blues who have been left frustrated with the officials.
Everton face difficult game next against Arsenal
Things are not going to get any easier for Everton as they now prepare themselves for a home game against Arsenal.
Moyes has demanded more goals from Jack Grealish and the 30-year-old is going to have to start offering more with the potential absences for next week.

Without Ndiaye and potentially Dewsbury-Hall, the Manchester City loanee is going to have to pull his side through these run of games.
The games are going to come thick and fast after Christmas, and Moyes is going to need to rely on his squad depth before the January window opens.
