However, despite results before being not good enough at all, Liverpool were doing the right things, they had just not got the balance right.

But now with that issue looking to be sorted, they are getting the fruits of their labour, proving that they are still the free-flowing and attacking team everyone knows they are.
Arne Slot has found his best system
Although he may not have found his best XI just yet, he has certainly found a system that works and one that can see players play in multiple roles.
The diamond formation suits Liverpool’s midfielders down to the ground, with stars like Curtis Jones thriving and becoming a key man.
This also helps the defence be more resolute and protected, which in turn frees up the attackers in the final third, showing how one change has impacted everything.
If they can carry on like this, Liverpool might just be able to get their season back on track, with things looking a little more optimistic than they were not too long ago.
