Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca seems to be frustrated with how things are going at Stamford Bridge, despite the fact his side got back to winning ways this weekend.
The Blues beat Everton 2-0 to put an end to a four-game winless run, however Maresca’s post-match interview focused around the tough 48 hours he had endured before the game.

It is believed there is tension between Maresca and the board following a recent slump in form, where some of the decisions made by the manager have been called into question.
At this point, there are no indications that Chelsea are looking to make a change in the hotseat, especially after they returned to winning ways at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have four managers on shortlist to replace Enzo Maresca
However, Simon Phillips has stated on his Substack that Chelsea already have Liam Rosenior, Cesc Fabregas, Andoni Iraola and Oliver Glasner on a shortlist of potential replacements for the Italian.
He said: “They have a long list of managers that they admire, and all the names that you hear such as Liam Rosenior, Cesc Fabregas, Andoni Iraola, Oliver Glasner, and many more, are all on the manager shortlist should they decide to make a change.
“If it is midseason, due to them pulling the trigger or Maresca having enough and walking away, then I’d suspect an interim would come in until the summer.
“However, I must reiterate that the club do not want to make any changes right now and are continuing with Maresca, unless more drama ensues and both parties become even more fed up. Anything can happen.”

Chelsea could lose out on one of top candidates
Rosenior has already been working under BlueCo at Strasbourg, where he has enjoyed success both domestically and in Europe.

Despite Chelsea being keen on the young manager, Rosenior is wanted by other Premier League clubs, who could need to bring in a new manager before the Blues.
If Chelsea are to make a change, it is likely that they continue down the path of bringing in developing coaches, similar to how they have done with the playing squad in the past few seasons.
Saying that, sacking Maresca right now would not be the wisest move, and the Blues should instead be looking to back the manager.
