Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw became the first women’s player in the club’s history to reach triple figures by netting four in the emphatic success which extended our top-flight winning streak to 10 straight matches.
The Jamaican opened the scoring when guiding Vivianne Miedema’s cross home which represented her 100th for Andrée Jeglertz’s side before she doubled our lead before half-time.
City extended our advantage further through Aova Fujino’s strike after the interval before the visitors pulled a goal back when Lucy Parker headed into the net from a corner.
But it didn’t take long until our three-goal lead was restored as Miedema tucked home shortly after.
Then Bunny added goal number 102 and 103 to her collection in the final five minutes of the match to add the gloss to a fine afternoon at the Joie.
