Stephen Curry leads the Golden State Warriors (13-13) into the Moda Center in Portland on Sunday night to take on the Portland Trail Blazers (9-16), who have lost three straight and six of their last seven.

Curry went off for 39 points on Friday night in his return from a five-game absence with a bruised quad, but the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves spoiled the night for Golden State with a 127-120 victory. Quinten Post added 16 points for the Warriors while Jimmy Butler finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Golden State was without Draymond Green (personal) and Al Horford (back).
The Trail Blazers closed out a 1-4 road trip on Thursday night with a 143-120 drubbing at the New Orleans Pelicans, with just 10 players available. Shaedon Sharpe paced Portland with 21 points, with Sidy Cissoko adding 20 points. Jerami Grant finished with 16 points. Donovan Clingan (bruised lower left leg), Yang Hansen (bruised face), Robert Williams III (illness), and Jrue Holiday (strained right calf) were among the missing for Portland.
The Blazers have beaten Golden State in their first two meetings this season, taking a 139-119 win at home on Oct. 24 and winning in San Francisco 127-123 on Nov. 21. Curry averages 28.5 points for the Warriors, with Butler getting 19.3 points per game, Jonathan Kuminga notching 12.4 points and 6.3 rebounds a night and Green dishing 5.5 assists per contest. Deni Avdija leads Portland with an average of 25.4 points, with Sharpe netting 21.1 points per game, Holiday posting 16.7 points and 8.3 assists nightly, and Clingan putting up 10.0 points and 10.2 boards an outing.
