Jalen Johnson hit two birds with one stone this Sunday as his rise continues.
Jalen Johnson's meteoric rise to stardom continues.
The Atlanta Hawks forward had himself a night once again for the Atlanta Hawks, as he powered the team's 120-117 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.
With his major triple-double statline of 12 points, 12 assists and 10 boards, the forward basically hit two birds in one stone.
First, he becomes the third player to record four consecutive triple-doubles before turning 24, joining Hall of Famers Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson.
And second, he is now the Hawks' all-time leader in triple-doubles made, surpassing the record set by Mookie Blaylock (7).
Johnson has been a huge revelation for the Hawks this season, becoming an all-around wonder as he's been averaging 22.8 points, 10.5 boards and 8.2 assists.
Following a recent trade report around him, it's no wonder that the Hawks have already identified Johnson as the newest cornerstone of their franchise.
