Despite Chelsea being by no means in a crisis right now, there is talk of tension at the top between their manager and the board.
Enzo Maresca has proven a divisive figure to some corners of the fanbase since he took over at Stamford Bridge, and despite a win against Everton talk remained about the manager following the game.
The Italian launched a stunning attack on his own club, describing the 48 hours before the match as the toughest he has endured since joining.

Reports since have stated that there is tension between the Chelsea board and Maresca, and with the ruthless nature that the decision makers have dealt with the playing squad, a managerial change cannot be ruled out in the near future.

There will be plenty of names linked with the job should it become available, however The Chelsea Chronicle believe the Blues should push to hire Oliver Glasner if they start looking elsewhere.
The Crystal Palace manager’s contract is set to expire next summer, and at this stage there are no indications that he will extend his stay there.
Glasner has only been managing for 11 years, however in that time has already added some big silverware to his personal collection.
He won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt, and of course was victorious in last season’s FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Glasner has led Palace to as high as fifth in the Premier League at this stage, only two points behind the tally Maresca’s Chelsea are on.
This is despite them losing star player Eberechi Eze over the summer, while the Blues spent big again to add the likes of Joao Pedro, Estevao Willian and Liam Delap to their first team squad.

Glasner was on this list, as well as Cesc Fabregas, Andoni Iraola and Strasbourg boss Liam Rosenior.
Already working under BlueCo’s watch, it is clear the Englishman is very high up in the club’s thinking.
There are reports that Premier League clubs are interested in Rosenior, and it feels too early in his managerial career for him to be hired by a club like Chelsea.
