Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s future at Barcelona remains unclear amid speculation he could leave in January in a bid to boost his World Cup chances.

There has been rumored interest from Turkish clubs in Ter Stegen’s services but the goalkeeper is “not convinced” by the offers received so far, according to La Vanguardia.

The report adds that Ter Stegen is currently thinking of staying and seeing out his contact, that runs until 2028, as he refuses to be pressured into an exit.

“If they want to sell him, he has to play; that way he’ll have more market value,” is apparently the message from those close to Ter Stegen about his current situation.
