Loan watch: One goal and two assists for Earl

Madison Earl was pulling the strings for Ipswich Town in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup on Sunday.

They beat AFC Portchester 5-0 away from home in the third round and, after Earl provided assists for Lucy O’Brien and Ruby Seaby, she scored the fifth and final goal with a powerful strike from distance.

Elsewhere in the competition, **Jessie Gale** played 90 minutes as Portsmouth were knocked out by Bristol City, while **Naomi Williams** wasn’t in the squad for the Robins.

In the Barclays Women’s Super League, **Rosa Kafaji** played 59 minutes of Brighton & Hove Albion’s 3-0 defeat at home to Chelsea, the Seagulls dropping to seventh. **Michelle Agyemang** remains sideline with a long-term injury.

Leicester City are now ninth in the WSL following Sunday’s 1-0 win at home to London City Lionesses, which **Cecily Wellesley-Smith** was an unused substitute for.

**Vivienne Lia** was an unused substitute for Nottingham Forest as they won 2-1 at Wolves to reach the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup.

As for Forest’s men’s team, **Oleksandr Zinchenko** returned from injury to play 90 minutes of Thursday’s 2-1 win away to Utrecht in the UEFA Europa League.

Sean Dyche’s side are 11th in the table having gone unbeaten in the last four matches of the competition.

Zinchenko was then on the bench as Forest put three past Tottenham Hotspur without reply to go 16th in the Premier League.

Overseas, **Jakub Kiwior** played 90 minutes of Porto’s 2-1 win at home to Malmo in the UEFA Europa League, Samu Aghehowa’s brace putting them eighth and only two points off the top.

**Fabio Vieira** played 90 minutes of Hamburg’s 4-1 defeat away to Hoffenheim on Saturday.

He provided the assist, his third of the season, for Rayan Philippe’s late consolation.

Hamburg are now 14th in the Bundesliga with 15 points from 14 games.

Elsewhere in the division, **Karl Hein** was an unused substitute for Werder Bremen in a 4-0 loss at home to Vfb Stuttgart that succumbed them to 12th.

**Reiss Nelson** was not involved in Brentford’s 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United, the goals from Jordan Henderson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin ensuring the points were shared.

In League Two, **Ismeal Kabia** played 58 minutes of Shrewsbury Town’s 1-1 draw at home to Grimsby Town on Tuesday, and played 90 minutes of Saturday’s 1-1 draw away to Walsall, the two draws leaving Shrewsbury 20th.

**Maldini Kacurri** came on in the 62nd minute of Morecambe’s 3-0 win away to Gateshead in the third round of the FA Trophy, while **Cam’ron Ismail** started Uxbridge’s 3-1 defeat away to Poole Town to go 10th in the Southern League Premier South.
