Brendan Rodgers has travelled to Saudi Arabia as he closes in on becoming Al Qadsiah head coach, talkSPORT understands.
The Northern Irishman has been out of work since October when he resigned as Celtic boss.

He is en route to Saudi Arabia to finalise the move and will replace Michel Gonzalez, who was sacked on Sunday.
The negotiations are being led by ex-Rangers CEO James Bisgrove.
The Saudi Pro League side are understood to be a club who are keen on signing Mohamed Salah.
Salah's future at Liverpool is uncertain following a bombshell interview in which he claimed the club threw him under the bus.

He was left out of their squad to face Inter Milan in the Champions League last week.
However, he returned to the side during their 2-0 win over Brighton on Saturday and made Premier League history in his appearance.
Salah now looks set to join the Egypt national team for the Africa Cup of Nations, with their first game coming on December 22.
The 33-year-old has been of long-term interest to clubs in the Saudi Arabian top flight.
Despite him signing a new two-year deal at Liverpool earlier in the year, Saudi chiefs still hope to bring him to the league.
