Leeds United continue to come in for praise after going three games unbeaten under Daniel Farke, ending their dismal away form to steal a point against Brentford on Sunday.
Leeds had lost six of seven Premier League games away from home before Sunday’s trip to Brentford. Meanwhile, Keith Andrews’ side were the fourth-best at home in the league, but the two sides drew 1-1.
There is plenty to be done for Leeds, but the Whites have opened up a three-point gap on the bottom three after West Ham were beaten by Aston Villa on Sunday. Things are looking good for Daniel Farke.

The German’s job security seems intact again after winning five points from the last three, and boasting two winnable games before the turn of the year. Plenty of Farke’s summer signings are in good form, too.
Anton Stach, Jaka Bijol, Gabi Gudmundsson and even Lucas Perri impressed on Sunday but obviously, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is taking the plaudits after his header cancelled out Jordan Henderson’s opener.

Jamie Carragher says Everton will rue letting Calvert-Lewin go
Calvert-Lewin became the third Englishman to score in four consecutive Premier League games for Leeds after Rod Wallace and Michael Bridges. A super header, after goals against City, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
Pat Nevin says Calvert-Lewin’s form will hurt Everton, and now, Jamie Carragher thinks Everton will be ruing their decision to let the England man go. He thinks Calvert-Lewin is better than Everton’s strikers.

That includes new £27m signing Thierno Barry, and Beto. Leeds tried to sign Beto in the summer, but nothing materialised. However, it appears Leeds have got the better player, according to Carragher.
“I think Everton will be rueing letting Calvert-Lewin leave, yeah. Listen, I can understand it from both parties’ point of view.” Carragher said, speaking on Sky Sports after Leeds’ draw against Brentford.

“His new [Everton] deal was probably less money, having missed so many games through injury. I have absolutely no doubt about it, Calvert-Lewin is a better centre-forward than what Everton have right now.”
How Calvert-Lewin compares to new Premier League strikers
The Premier League’s biggest clubs spent massive amounts on new strikers. Liverpool spent north of £200m on Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike, while Arsenal and Man United made massive striker signings.
Even Chelsea signed both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. Yet, Leeds didn’t spend a penny on their options up top, if Noah Okafor is considered a winger. Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha arrived on free transfers.

The stats above clearly indicate that either, Leeds have saved a massive wedge of cash or that the other strikers are struggling to score in a climate where Calvert-Lewin has acclimatised, and is scoring regularly.
What is fact is that Calvert-Lewin is thriving in this side, impressing after being afforded a new lease of life. With the World Cup incoming, Calvert-Lewin will earn himself a ticket if he keeps on scoring goals.
