Monte Morris status for Round 16 vs. Valencia confirmed

Georgios Bartzokas revealed that Olympiacos’ new signing, Monte Morris, will have his playing condition assessed from Wednesday onwards, as the American will undergo fitness testing, meaning he will miss the Round 16 matchup against Valencia.

Olympiacos Piraeus’ latest NBA signing, Monte Morris, will have to wait for his EuroLeague debut.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Round 16 EuroLeague matchup against Valencia, Olympiacos head coach Georgios Bartzokas revealed that Morris’ playing condition will be assessed from Wednesday onwards, meaning he will miss the upcoming game on Tuesday.

In addition to Morris, Tyson Ward (leg), Shaquielle McKissic (thigh), Keenan Evans (left leg surgery), and Moustapha Fall (left knee) are all sidelined for game against Valencia.

With an 8–6 record, Olympiacos are currently ranked tenth in the EuroLeague standings, although, along with Fenerbahce, they have played one game fewer heading into Round 16.
