Basketball power-couple A'ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo have ripped into a former ESPN reporter over 'strange' questions regarding their private life.
After months of speculation, WNBA star Wilson and NBA star Adebayo recently went public with their relationship and have since spoken candidly about their situation.
In a recent interview with Time Magazine, after being named as their Athlete of the Year for 2025, Wilson opened up on her relationship with the Miami Heat star.
Wilson called Adebayo her 'life partner' and revealed that it would be a 'dream' to begin a family with the three-time NBA All-Star.
Those quotes quickly began circulating the internet and, just days later, were used in a bizarre interview by former ESPN reporter Rachel Nichols.
On Saturday night, Nichols was on duty for the NBA Cup semi-finals and, before OKC's game against the Spurs, caught up with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Both Wilson and Adebayo took to Threads to hit back at Nichols for the 'strange' question
During the interview, Nichols joked about OKC's general manager Sam Presti and his hunger to find talent. She suggested that Presti would even be present in the doctor's office when Wilson and Adebayo have a child.
A stunned SGA jokingly responded: 'Sam takes his job very serious, and whatever it takes to be great, he will do'.
However, neither Wilson nor Adebayo saw the humor to the question and quickly turned to social media to throw shade on the former ESPN host.
Taking to Threads, Wilson wrote: 'Yall don’t think this a lil strange orrrr weird..??? But I guess it’s a slow day in the office'.
Meanwhile, Adebayo wrote: 'This why privacy matters'.
Most fans were left baffled by Nichols' decision to mention Wilson and Adebayo, given they have no direct link to Thunder star Gilgeous-Alexander.
Just days prior to the incident, Nichols had heaped praise on Wilson for being recognized by Time Magazine.
'A’ja Wilson is Time Magazine’s athlete of the year. Not “female athlete of the year.” Athlete of the year,' she wrote on Threads.

Back in October, Wilson added another WNBA title to her Hall-of-Fame resume as the Las Vegas Aces completed a Finals sweep of the Phoenix Mercury.
Wilson added her second WNBA Finals MVP award with a historic postseason performance that included a buzzer-beating turnaround jumper to beat the Mercury in Game 3.
Wilson scored 31 points, Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young both added 18.
The Aces made quick work of the league’s first best-of-seven Finals. It was another offensive onslaught from Las Vegas, which scored 54 points in the first half and averaged more than 90 points per game in the series.
