Toronto Raptors forward RJ Barrett is nearing his return from a sprained right knee.

According to NBA writer Marc Spears, Barrett is scheduled to begin return-to-play activities this week, although he is still listed as out for the upcoming game against the Heat.
“The Toronto Raptors say RJ Barrett, diagnosed with a right knee sprain, continues to progress after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection. He is scheduled to begin return-to-play activities this week,” Spears reports.
The Canadian-born forward is averaging 19.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season in 17 games played.
Meanwhile, the Raptors are currently sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 15–11 record.
