The date and kick-off time for Exeter City's FA Cup third round clash with Premier League side Manchester City has been confirmed.

The tie will see Gary Caldwell's Grecians take on Pep Guardiola's Citizens at the Etihad Stadium - the first competitive meeting of the two sides – with kick-off at Saturday, January 10 in a 3pm kick-off.

The third round is set to take place from Friday 9 to Monday 12 January 2026, with 22 matches available for fans to watch live, and the schedule can be seen below (all kick-off times are in GMT). Eight games were originally selected for TV by TNT Sports, while a further 14 have also been selected for broadcast on Discovery+, but the Grecians game is not among them.

19:45: Liverpool v. Barnsley on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+ All 64 clubs will receive guaranteed payments from the competition’s prize fund for winning or losing their tie. Those involved in television broadcast selections on linear channels will receive an additional £80,000, and the fee for clubs participating in the matches streamed on discovery+ only is £40,000. Live television broadcast selections are scheduled collaboratively with the participating clubs, the local authorities and police, and the broadcasters. The fourth round draw will be shown live by TNT Sports before Liverpool v. Barnsley on Monday 12 January 2026, and ties will be played around the weekend of Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February

City qualified for the third round for the second year in a row after beating Halifax Town 2-0 at the Shay Stadium before beating Wycombe Wanderers 4-0 at SJP in the second round.

The club will be running coaches which will be able to be booked online, only when you have purchased your ticket to the match.
