Arsenal have been told by former Premier League left-back Micky Gray, that they are missing Granit Xhaka, who is now playing for Sunderland.
The Gunners are currently at the top of the table, clear over Manchester City by two points. Arsenal managed to just keep their top spot, as they beat Wolves 2-1 on Saturday, in what turned out to be a close call against Rob Edwards’ side.

Arsenal told they are missing Xhaka
However, former Premier League left-back Micky Gray has told GoonerNews that Arsenal could do with former midfielder Granit Xhaka, who is currently performing very well at Sunderland. Micky Gray, speaking exclusively to Gooner News via the home of sports betting said: “I think it maybe takes somebody to leave a club to realise how good they are and how much you miss them. And Granit Xhaka probably jumps off the page when you look at Arsenal.
“They’ve got so many flair players and everybody’s talked about how good a season Declan Rice is having, but in those times when things aren’t going your way, you need that calm and influence. And Granit Xhaka, he’s the signing of the season in the Premier League.
“For the money he came to Sunderland for, and you think he’s a league winner in Germany and he’s came back to the Premier League and they absolutely adore him in the North East now. Full credit as well, he’s been outstanding. He’s exactly what Arsenal need right now in terms of experience.”
