The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly considering making another significant addition that could help convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to stay.
The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly preparing another blockbuster trade attempt to convince their franchise superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, to stay.
Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports that the Bucks are not ready to let go of Giannis easily and plan to persuade him to remain by making another significant move.
“Five months after the Bucks’ stunning decision to waive Damian Lillard en route to adding big man Myles Turner on a four-year, $107 million deal, it appears they aren’t waving the white flag on Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee just yet,” Nehm reports.
“Instead, league sources said they’re considering making yet another significant addition that might aid their chances of convincing him to stay,” he adds.

The Bucks have struggled this season with an 11–16 record, and there is widespread belief that Giannis might want to leave to pursue better championship contention opportunities.
Giannis is in his 13th season with the Milwaukee Bucks and still has a contract through the end of the 2026–27 season, with a player option for 2027–28.
This season, he has appeared in 17 games, averaging 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game.
