Blues were rarely troubled during a comfortable 4-0 win against Truro City in the third round of the FA Trophy at Roots Hall.

And the only subsequent fall out this time around will be selection headaches for Shrimpers boss Kevin Maher.
The Blues head coach made three changes to his starting line-up following Saturday’s wash-out at the Crown Oil Arena and that included a recall down the left hand side for Jack Bridge.
The wing-back has been a regular starter for the Shrimpers in recent seasons but, following the summer signing of Harry Boyes, Bridge has featured far less frequently this time around.
Bridge has yet to start a league game this season but was handed a rare chance to shine at the weekend and it was an opportunity he most definitely took.
Bridge scored two goals and made another during a man of the match performance which must surely push him back into contention for more minutes.
The 30-year-old was left out of the matchday squad altogether against Rochdale but fired out a reminder of his talents on Saturday.
Bridge will now be putting more pressure on Boyes for a slot down the left hand-side and, with Boyes having slightly fallen away from the very high standards he set at the start of the season, it has the makings of an interesting battle.
Chapter one of the football cliches handbook will quite rightly point out how competition for places is key.
And there could be an unexpected battle on the opposite flank now too.
With Gus Scott-Morriss out injured, Sam Austin switched to right wing-back and was also able to produce an eye-catching display.
The successful audition is likely to see Austin feature there more regularly – especially when Scott-Morriss is sidelined. But it must also be noted that there will be far tougher tests than Truro to come.
The Tinners arrived at Roots Hall sitting at the foot of the National League table having suffered six defeats in succession. The strugglers failed to register a single shot on target and goalkeeper Collin Andeng Ndi’s 100th appearance for the Shrimpers must have been his quietest so far.
At the other end of the field, Harry Cardwell marked his return to Roots Hall with a goal which will do wonders for his confidence.
The striker’s move to Forest Green Rovers failed to work out the way he would have liked and resulted in him being short of match action.
But Cardwell will now be eager to remind Blues’ fans of his talents and got off to the perfect start where that was concerned at the weekend.
Alongside him, Josh Walker scored his sixth goal of the season and has now already netted more times than in the whole of the previous campaign.
With Charley Kendall now returning from injury, Slavi Spasov boasting a fine goalscoring ratio and Andrew Dallas soon back in contention – Blues are certainly not short of striking options.
Finding the right combination will be key as will players making the most of the opportunities that come their way.
Oli Coker has certainly done that in recent weeks and again caught the eye in the centre of the park against Truro.
He also adds an additional threat in attack and Saturday was another reminder that the Shrimpers now have far more threats going forward.
And that can only bode well for Blues – whatever the strength of the opposition.
