Rasheer Fleming scored 21 points, while Khaman Maluach registered a double-double as the Phoenix Suns rookies shined in the Valley Suns’ 140-127 loss to the Salt Lake City Stars on Monday.
Fleming finished with 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting), with five rebounds and an assist. Maluach scored 15 points (6-of-11 shooting), with 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks, while shooting 60% from 3-point range.

Fleming was one of three players for the G-League squad to score at least 20 points along with Jaden Shackelford (25) and Damion Baugh (20).
Stars guard Elijah Harkless led the Stars with 28 points (on 12-of-24 shooting), five assists and three rebounds in the win.
The G League Suns will play the Stars again at Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Suns will be off until Thursday when it hosts the Golden State Warriors.
