There has been a growing nervousness around Arsenal in recent weeks.
Sure, the club are still top of the Premier League table and flying in the Champions League, but performances of late have been generally subpar.
For example, Mikel Arteta's side have won just three of their last six league games, losing to Aston Villa and drawing away to Chelsea and Sunderland.

Therefore, it may be time for the manager to make some bold decisions, such as dropping a player once compared to Robert Pirès.
The Arsenal players who should be under pressure after Wolves
Arsenal came away from their game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night as winners.
However, aside from the brief moment after the visitors' second own goal, it certainly didn't feel like that.
Aside from Bukayo Saka, the North Londoners were seriously poor, and while most of the team can be allowed one lacklustre display, a few starters have underdelivered for a few games now.
One of those players is summer signing Eberechi Eze, who, since his hat-trick in the North London Derby, has been pretty anonymous for the Gunners.
This was the case in the defeat against Villa and on Saturday, when he was hooked 57 minutes in, having failed to take a single shot or play a single key pass.

Another attacker who should probably be taken out of the team for the must-win game against Everton is, of course, Viktor Gyokeres.
Now, the Swedish marksman could well come good for Arteta and Co, but so far this season, he has been poor, and that was especially true against the Old Gold.

For example, in 81 minutes of football, the 27-year-old took just 15 touches, lost the ball eight times, failed to take a shot on target and completed three passes.
It was a performance that was then made to look worse by Gabriel Jesus, who replaced him and managed to take a shot on target and complete as many passes in just 19 minutes.

Finally, there is another player who has looked good at points this season, that Arteta must drop, a player previously compared to Pirès.
The Arsenal star who must be axed
Unfortunately, the third attacking player Arteta must axe from the team after the weekend is Gabriel Martinelli, who the club were reportedly willing to sell for £60m in the summer, only for interest to stop at £40m.

Now, in the Brazilian's defence, he has looked good in moments this season, like his goals in the Champions League and against Manchester City in the league.
In fact, to his credit, the 24-year-old has been a far more useful player for the Gunners this season than he was last year, and already has a tally of six goals and one assist to his name.
However, four of those goal involvements have come about when he's been used as an impact substitute.
In other words, when the rapid attacker has started the game, he's generally looked far less dangerous.

This was the case on Saturday, when in 57 minutes of action, he missed one big chance, failed to register a shot on target, lost the ball every third touch, didn't play a key pass and misplaced his only attempted cross.
It was a similar story in the games against Chelsea and Liverpool as well.

Therefore, the unfortunate reality, for the Guarulhos-born ace anyway, is that the best way for him to have a positive impact on the Gunners this season is to remain a bench player, which makes Gary Neville's previous claim that "he's got a bit of the Pires about him" look all the more absurd.
Ultimately, Arteta has to make some changes to his Arsenal team ahead of the game against Everton, and one of those has to be removing Martinelli from the starting lineup.
