LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Big changes could be on the way for the Emirates NBA Cup after the New York Knicks face the San Antonio Spurs at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday.

The NBA is considering pulling the in-season tournament's championship game out of Las Vegas, according to multiple reports.

T-Mobile Arena has hosted the semifinals and final since its launch in 2023, but ESPN reports that some parties are underwhelmed by the lack of enthusiasm at the neutral site.

Back in September, the NBA announced that the semifinals would be played at home courts starting in 2026.

ESPN reported Monday that the league is now considering moving the championship game as well.

The NBA and Amazon Prime Video, the broadcast partner for Cup games, still want the title matchup played at a neutral site and are discussing other locations, according to The Athletic.

Commissioner Adam Silver is scheduled to host a press conference ahead of Tuesday's championship game.
