Liverpool Leeds United
Daniel Farke seems to have turned things around at Leeds United over the past few weeks. Nobody really gave the Whites a chance with their schedule after the international break.
Leeds had to face Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. And on top of all that, Farke was under pressure, with many reporting that he could be sacked during that run of games. But the club sprung a surprise in these matches; they almost stole a point from the Etihad but were undone by an injury time goal from Phil Foden.

Farke used his new 3-5-2 shape in the game against the Blues, where his side won the game 3-1, shocking Enzo Maresca’s men. It was a more difficult challenge when Liverpool arrived at Elland Road. He took off a defender and went to a back four, his changes paid off as Ao Tanaka scored a late equalizer to seal a 3-3 draw.
Bryn Law reveals what Liverpool players did at the end of Leeds United game
The post-match was full of drama as Reds boss Arne Slot said the home side did not deserve the win. And over a week after the game, new details have emerged from the ending. According to Bryn Law, the Liverpool players were not pleased with how the Leeds United players celebrated the result:
“Oh, brilliant. Back to the best,” Law said on The Square Ball podcast.
“The way the games have gone, noise levels around significant moments, the scenes after Liverpool. Never has a home draw been celebrated…”
“There was a lot of chuntering from the Liverpool players down the tunnel at the end about why are they celebrating like this? It was a draw. So that probably raised eyebrows, but the games have been great.”

Reds stars cannot determine how players react after result
The match at Elland Road was full of emotions as the atmosphere pushed the team to get a result. Every goal that went in was celebrated by the fans and gave confidence to the home team.
Liverpool players do not get to decide how the Leeds players celebrated. Getting a crucial point against the Premier League holders just days after beating Chelsea is a moment they deserve to celebrate in front of their home crowd.
