Liverpool trio Arne Slot, Mohamed Salah and Alisson were all beaten to prizes in the 2025 FIFA Best Awards.
The award ceremony, which is a rival to the more prestigious Ballon d’Or awards organized by France Football, recognize the achievements of players in the 2024/25 season.
With Liverpool winning the Premier League and making it to the final of the Carabao Cup, there were no shortage of nominees from the club.
However, in recognition of its Champions League-winning campaign, Paris Saint-Germain dominated the list of winners.
At the glitzy prize giving Qatar, Ousmane Dembele was named Best FIFA Men’s Player 2025 Winner, to coincide with his Ballon d'Or success.
Salah had been among the candidates for the award, along with the likes of Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane and Cole Palmer.
PSG's Luis Enrique scooped the coach's award, beating Slot, along with Enzo Maresca and Mikel Arteta.
The Best Awards are voted on by players, managers, fans and the media.
Alisson was the final Liverpool star to miss out. Gianluigi Donnarumma was awarded the goalkeeper prize for his achievements at PSG last season
In the female categories, Aitana Bonmati won best player, while England duo Sarina Wiegman and Hannah Hampton were victorious in the coach and goalkeeper categories.
