Premier League leaders Arsenal will hope to maintain their lead at the top when they face Everton on Saturday.
The Gunners sit top of the table but have endured something of a dip in form of late, winning just three of their last six matches in the competition.
That run of form has allowed Manchester City to cut Arsenal’s advantage at the top to just two points, and manager Mikel Arteta will therefore be desperate to see his side return to winning ways against the Toffees after a 2-1d defeat against Aston Villa last time out.
In the meantime, it appears that the north London club are interested in a Serie A star.
As per Italian outlet Gazzetta, via CaughtOffside, Arsenal are monitoring AC Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani.
The report claims that the Gunners have been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old, who has been impressing for Milan’s development side.

Torriani is a product of Milan’s youth system and has played twice for the Italian club at senior level, conceding two goals.
It is claimed that Arsenal are very interested in the young ‘keeper, despite his relative inexperience at the top level.
Torriani is highly rated at Milan, though, and the report suggests that the Serie A side are reluctant to allow the youngster to leave any time soon as he is viewed as an important player with huge potential.
The Italian’s current contract with Milan is set to run until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, and it is currently unclear whether or not Arsenal will make an attempt to sign the ‘keeper next year.
Torriani made his senior debut for Milan during a Champions League clash with Liverpool last season, before also featuring in the Italian Cup against Sassuolo.
