England pair acknowledged

Chelsea star Palmer enjoyed a solid season for the Blues and played a key role in their UEFA Conference League success in May.

He went one better during the summer, scoring twice in the Club World Cup final as Chelsea swept aside Paris Saint-Germain 3-0.

Palmer also scooped the Club World Cup Golden Ball award for his fine showing during the revamped tournament.

Meanwhile, Bellingham produced another impressive season with Real Madrid and England and helped his club side land the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup in 2024.

Palmer was one of three Premier League stars selected in the XI alongside Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk and Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

However, the Italian, who was named The Best Goalkeeper 2025, was selected based on his heroics with Paris Saint-Germain as he did not join Man City until after the August 2 deadline.
