Per NBA reporter Evan Sidery, several contending teams have reached out to the Pelicans regarding the potential trade availability of Saddiq Bey.

Along with Micah Peavy and Jordan Poole, Bey was acquired by the Pelicans from the Washington Wizards in a three-team deal this past offseason.

After not playing last 2024-25 as he recovered from a torn ACL injury, Bey has been putting up solid numbers this year for NOLA. He is currently averaging 14.2 points, 6.0 boards and 2.3 assists in 29.2 minutes across 26 games (18 starts).

He is set to earn $6.1 million this season, with one year left on his current contract.

Considering that he is relatively cheap and a serviceable wing presence, Bey will absolutely get monitored by competing teams. And as the Pelicans are struggling with a league-worst 5-22 record, the veteran might get moved by the team to either acquire assets or further improve the roster.

Bey serves as the latest Pelican who has been tagged around the league's trade rumors following Herbert Jones and Trey Murphy III.
