Adam Silver breaks his silence over the Los Angeles Clippers' stunning decision to part ways with Chris Paul.
The entire NBA world was stunned earlier this month when the Los Angeles Clippers announced that they were moving on from Chris Paul.
Apparently, league commissioner Adam Silver shared the same sentiment, but he reiterated that he has no position to dispute the franchise's decision as he hopes nothing but the best for Paul on the other hand.
"I've talked to Chris, I've talked to Steve Ballmer, but frankly not about this. I probably was in bed when I saw an alert on my phone. I would say I was dismayed just for everyone involved," Silver said.
"I've admired [Paul's] leadership over the years. He's had a dozen all-star appearances. I think it's his 21st year in the league, so I would love to see him finish off the season on another team and he's already announced this is his last season. I'd love to see him finish strong."
