The final round of Premier League matches before Christmas, the game at St James’ Park is a 12.30pm kick-off.
However, Chelsea will have to make the trip without their big success story of this season.
Enzo Maresca having revealed that Estevao is ruled out of the Newcastle United match.
The Chelsea boss says that the teenager won’t be available due to picking up an injury.
Estevao has a “small muscle problem” and Enzo Maresca says he is hoping he will be able to return to action for Chelsea’s home game against Aston Villa on Saturday 27 December.
Maresca saying ahead of the weekend; “Estevao won’t be available for Newcastle, we will see for the next one.”
Enzo Maresca changed his entire team last night and Chelsea were fortunate to win at Cardiff and progress to the Carabao Cup semi-finals. Estevao was missing from the squad altogether, having played at the weekend in the win over Chelsea, when he came off the bench.
