‘No intention of accepting’ – UK claims over transfer to Arsenal dismissed

This week, rumours have been launched from the UK regarding a swap deal involving Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus.

It has been claimed that Juventus are interested in the Brazilian and Jonathan David could be shipped off to the Emirates in return.

This deal hasn’t found any joy in Italy, as TuttoJuve report on it.

Juve have ‘no intention of accepting’ Arsenal’s approach for the deal. This is mainly because the Bianconeri have doubts about Jesus’ candidature.

They have concerns about the 28-year-old’s fitness, as he returned from a serious knee injury quite recently. Even if Juve need a striker due to Dusan Vlahovic’s injury, they want to focus on other profiles.

Besides, David has scored two goals in two Champions League games in the last few weeks. He is showing signs of returning to form, having initially faced struggles to adapt to life in Italy.

Jesus’ current contract at Arsenal runs out in the summer of 2027. This could make his exit in 2026 a real possibility.

The Gunners would also want to sell him next year instead of losing him on a free transfer in 2027.
