LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — While the NBA explores potentially expanding with a franchise in Las Vegas, another league event could be leaving town.
Commissioner Adam Silver told Amazon Prime Video's pregame show that he's had talks regarding moving the NBA Cup championship.
"We're talking with Amazon Prime about whether it makes sense to maybe go to some unique locations for the final game," Silver said. "They've suggested, for example, some storied college arenas, so we're just looking at other ways we can do this."

The in-season tournament's semifinals and championship game have been played at T-Mobile Arena on the Strip since its inaugural run in 2023.
Starting next season, however, the semifinals will be held at teams' home arenas. New reports this week indicated the Cup championship might be on the move as well.
