Dennis Schroder revealed his plans for life after basketball, saying he wants to focus on his businesses, spend more time with family, and potentially work in an organizational role for the German Basketball Federation.
Dennis Schroder isn’t just focused on the NBA this season—he’s already thinking about life after his playing career and how he wants to continue impacting German basketball.

“I’m a main shareholder of Lowen Braunschweig, and we’re building businesses outside basketball. I also want to spend more time with family since we travel so much,” Schroder told SPORT BILD.
“I could see myself working for the DBB, not as a coach, but in an organizational role like the president Ingo Weiss handles. But that’s still far away.”
Despite looking ahead, Schröder remains committed to representing Germany on the international stage.
“I want to play as long as I can run. Playing for the national team is special. As long as I can move and help the team, I’ll do it. That’s my goal,” he said.

Schroder also expressed his support for Isaiah Hartenstein, who aims to play for Germany in the 2027 World Cup and the LA Olympics.
“Everyone in Germany knows how I feel about committing to a cause. Many gave up their summers for the national team, and that should be rewarded. I always support that.”
On the court this season, Schroder is averaging 12.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game while shooting 39.9% from the field and 34.9% from three.
Despite his efforts, the Sacramento Kings are struggling, currently sitting 13th in the Western Conference with a 6-20 record.
