Atlanta Hawks fans finally have a reason to be excited as point guard Trae Young is back with the team following his MCL sprain.

Young, who had been recovering from the injury earlier this season, was briefly assigned to the College Park Skyhawks before being recalled on Wednesday, the Hawks announced on X, formerly Twitter.
Earlier this week, Young resumed practicing with the team, giving fans a glimpse of their floor general in action.
The Hawks have managed to stay competitive in Young’s absence, currently sitting just a game out of third place in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, Jalen Johnson has stepped up, emerging as a legitimate star, and it will be interesting to see how his role adjusts now that Young is back.
The Hawks will test their refreshed lineup on Thursday night when they visit Southeast Divisional rival Charlotte Hornets.
