Jaylen Wells chipped in with 16 points as Memphis shot 52.3% overall and 16-of-39 (41.0%) from 3-point range.
Minnesota opened its homestand on Sunday night, picking up its seventh win in eight games with a 117-103 victory over the Sacramento Kings in their second straight game without leading scorer Anthony Edwards (foot). Julius Randle finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals. Jaden McDaniels added 21 points, and Naz Reid went for 20 points and 11 rebounds. Rudy Gobert grabbed 12 boards in just 20 minutes.
Edwards is listed as questionable for Wednesday's matchup while Mike Conley (Achilles') remains out. Memphis is down Zach Edey (ankle), with Brandon Clarke (knee) and Ja Morant (ankle) questionable. Edwards averages 28.7 points for the Timberwolves, with Randle getting 23.1 points and 5.8 assists per game and Gobert putting up 11.5 points and 10.3 boards a night. Morant averages 17.7 points and 7.5 assists for the Grizzlies, Jackson scores 17.4 points per game, and Santi Aldama gets 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest.
