Porter Jr. is averaging 25.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game this season, shooting 49.7% from the field and 39.9% from three-point range. He is a seven-year NBA veteran wing.
The Pistons were also reportedly among the three teams interested in 10-time All-Star Anthony Davis, though that interest was later dismissed.
