Samson Nacua, who is the older brother of Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua, has been arrested after police say he stole Los Angeles Lakers player Adou Thiero’s SUV, [according to NBC 4](https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/arrests-made-lakers-adou-thiero-suv-stolen/3817945/?utm_social_post_id=626311596&_osource=SocialFlowTwt_LABrand&utm_social_handle_id=17379685) in Los Angeles.
Samson Nacua was one of two men arrested this past weekend in connection with Thiero’s car being stolen, according to the report.
Nacua and Trey Rose, both 27, were arrested and charged with taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, per NBC 4.
The report states that the SUV was tracked to the One Hotel in West Hollywood. Deputies were then called to the scene and reviewed security footage of the suspects valeting the car and entering the hotel.
Per NBC 4, law enforcement officials are unsure of when and where the vehicle was stolen.
Samson Nacua attended Utah and BYU, before going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. He spent this past season with the Michigan Panthers of the UFL.
Nacua has also spent time with the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL, but he has not appeared on the active roster for an [NFL](https://www.pennlive.com/topic/nfl/) team.
As for Puka Nacua, he has established himself as one of the best receivers in the NFL and is currently second in the league with 1,367 receiving yards.
Adou Thiero, a second-round pick out of Arkansas, has appeared in nine games for the Lakers this season as a rookie.
