**Everton are set to trial a pre-match team welcome for Arsenal’s visit.**
Saturday’s Premier League clash will mark with the [first official display by atmosphere group The 1878s](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/everton-fc/61801-first-new-everton-stadium-display-confirmed/) at Hill Dickinson Stadium with a pre-match tifo.
Alongside that, fans are being encouraged to greet David Moyes’ side as they arrive at Bramley-Moore Dock with a new route mapped out for the occasion.
Coach welcomes became a semi-regular staple of match day during Goodison Park’s final years with several memorable displays in that time.
The Blues normally enter the stadium via the Western Terrace, where supporters will be able to greet them ahead of their arrival at around 6pm.
Flags and banners will be welcomed in the limited capacity area, which will be closed off once its maximum occupancy is reached for safety reasons.
However club officials have urged fans not to bring pyrotechnics into the stadium area with searches being carried out at the Regent Road wall.
“While Everton is eager to introduce this exciting, shared moment into the Hill Dickinson Stadium matchday experience, anyone found to throw, ignite or distribute pyrotechnics will be removed from the site and face police investigation and further potential legal or club sanctions,” read a club statement.
“For safety and crowd-flow reasons, coach routes will also be cordoned off during the teams’ arrivals. Supporters are asked to follow instructions from stewards and safety personnel at all times.
“The club thanks all fans in advance for their co-operation and looks forward to an enjoyable and memorable team arrival experience.”
