'There is no way': Chris Sutton shares his Everton vs Arsenal prediction after 'massive' news…

Everton face a mammoth task on their hands at the weekend when the Premier League leaders, Arsenal, visit Merseyside.

It would be a difficult task for any side in Europe currently given the way Mikel Arteta has his side playing, but Everton will certainly be up against it.

David Moyes is going to need every ounce out of his players as they head into the final home game of 2025.

Everton News columnist Alan Myers has revealed Everton’s plans to welcome the coach ahead of the game against the Gunners.

A big atmosphere is going to be needed to get anything out of the game, with Everton going into the fixture having some major injury concerns.

Ahead of the game, former Premier League striker Chris Sutton has expressed his concerns after what he has read during the week.

Chris Sutton shares concerns in Everton vs Arsenal prediction

Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are injury doubts after both being withdrawn during the defeat against Chelsea last weekend.

No official update has been shared by the club, which could well play into the saying: no news is good news.

“What might help Mikel Arteta out is that most of the Merseysiders’ best players might be missing for this one,” said the pundit.

“Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Jack Grealish are both injury doubts, while Idrissa Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye are at AFCON with Senegal.

“That’s a stinker for Everton boss David Moyes, because Ndiaye in particular is so influential – and he is in my fantasy football team too.

“To be without all four of them would be a massive blow. I am not a medical expert but, if Dewsbury-Hall or Grealish have hurt their hamstrings in any way, which is what has been reported, then there is no way they will be fit for Saturday.”

The pressure is seemingly off the hosts on Saturday, with Ian Wright and Roy Keane predicting Everton to lose against Arsenal.

Moyes will speak to the media on Friday afternoon, where the first question will be expected to be about his growing list of injuries.

Tyler Dibling has the chance to prove Chris Sutton wrong

Clearly, potentially missing Dewsbury-Hall and Grealish would prove a big blow to Moyes against the Premier League’s top side.

Moyes will be expected to play Dibling with Ndiaye missing from the right-wing, but two further absences would almost guarantee the youngster a start.

The 19-year-old winger has struggled to pick up minutes in the early stages of his time on Merseyside, with just 82 minutes in the Premier League to show to his name.

What would your message to Tyler Dibling be ahead of Arsenal? 🫣

His lack of involvement this season is maddening!

Moyes wants Dibling to play like Grealish and that may well have to be the case with the 30-year-old potentially set for time on the sidelines.

It has undoubtedly been a tricky start for the 19-year-old on the back of Moyes pushing Everton to sign Dibling from Southampton.

Jamie Carragher does not think Moyes trusts Dibling yet, but the Everton manager is likely going to be left with no other choice on Saturday.

Dibling will surely have the opportunity to silence his doubters and the likes of Sutton who think the Blues don’t stand a chance against the Gunners.
