Miami has ruled out Herro due to a toe sprain as he will miss his second consecutive game after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Raptors.
With Herro sidelined, Simone Fontecchio could be in line for another start while Jaime Jacquez Jr. could also have an increased role.
The Heat have also ruled out Pelle Larsson due to an ankle injury, Nikola Jovic due to an elbow injury and Terry Rozier as he is away from the team.

Powell has been listed as probable with left calf tightness and he is expected to play in Thursday night’s matchup.
On the other side, the Nets have two players listed on their injury report, including guard Cam Thomas.

Brooklyn has ruled out Thomas due to a left hamstring strain that has sidelined him since he suffered the injury against the Indiana Pacers on November 5.
The Nets have also ruled out Haywood Highsmith as he remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from right knee surgery.
