In late October, the Thunder announced that Topic was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had already begun chemotherapy treatment.
General manager Sam Presti revealed that they are optimistic about the recovery of the 20-year-old, but there's still no clear timetable for his return.
Topic is yet to make his NBA debut since he was drafted No. 12 in last year's NBA Draft. He missed the previous 2024-25 season due to a torn ACL injury.
