Head coach Steve Kerr told reporters ahead of their road matchup against the Phoenix Suns that Kuminga will be back in the team's rotation.
Kuminga hasn't played for Golden State since Dec. 7, as he was marked DNP-CD (Did Not Play - Coach's Decision) in the team's victory over the Chicago Bulls.
He went on to miss the next two games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Portland Trail Blazers.
Kuminga's sudden inactivity reignited trade speculations around the Congolese forward. An NBA insider recently listed three key teams to watch for Kuminga.
In 17 games thus far this season, Kuminga is averaging 12.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
