Newcastle United will continue their quest to put things right after the derby against Chelsea on Saturday.

Lewis Hall returns from injury for Newcastle United
Lewis Hall missed the Fulham game with a hamstring injury, but should be fit enough to return against his former side Chelsea.
However, it is likely to be a different story for Tino Livramento after he came off with a knee problem on Wednesday night. Eddie Howe is worried about Livramento, who looks set to be unavailable.
That will mean Lewis Miley starts at right-back again, having impressed there in the Carabao Cup.

A lack of options means it will be Malick Thiaw and Fabian Schar at centre-back again, while Leo Shahar and Alex Murphy could provide full-back cover from the bench.

Another chance for Jacob Ramsey against Chelsea
With Miley needed in defence, there is an opportunity for someone to join Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali in midfield. The latter is expected to return to the starting XI after his impressive cameo against Fulham.
With Joelinton not considered 100% fit, it would be a surprise if he was risked against Chelsea. Therefore, Jacob Ramsey could get the chance to start consecutive games.
The alternative is Joe Willock, who famously scored a screamer in this fixture in November 2022.

Nick Woltemade replaces Yoane Wissa up front
After scoring on his first Newcastle United start, Yoane Wissa could find himself back on the bench on Saturday.
Eddie Howe will be wary of overplaying him, which should result in Nick Woltemade replacing him up front. While Wissa and Woltemade want to play together, they may have to wait for that opportunity.
The German international could be flanked by Anthony Gordon and Anthony Elanga, both of which were benched after the Tyne-Wear derby.
Alan Shearer called Newcastle’s front three ‘awful’ against Sunderland, but they could be in line for a recall.
Predicted XI vs Chelsea: Ramsdale; Miley, Thiaw, Schar, Hall; Bruno, Tonali, Ramsey; Elanga, Woltemade, Gordon.
