Ekitike, Joe Gomez To Start; Robertson Benched: Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Tottenham

Liverpool are preparing for a game against Tottenham on Saturday afternoon in North London.

The Reds have been able to recover some form, winning their last two matches against Inter and Brighton. They have the chance to climb up to fourth place if they manage to beat Spurs, but it won’t be an easy game.

Tottenham have won two of their last three games, but they did taste an awful defeat to Nottingham Forest last time out, as they lost 3-0 thanks to goals from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ibrahim Sangare.

The big story at Liverpool is Mo Salah at the moment, but he has gone to AFCON now. So, how could the Reds line up against Spurs without Salah?

Gomez starts at right-back

GK – Alisson – The Brazilian keeper managed to keep two clean sheets in a row, he will hope to keep it going.

LB – Milos Kerkez – Kerkez or Robertson is the decision at left-back, but we have Arne Slot choosing Kerkez like he did against Brighton.

CB – Ibrahima Konate – Konate starts at centre-back again this weekend, hoping to continue his improved recent form.

CB – Virgil Van Dijk – The Dutchman is hoping to help to carry the Reds whilst his star partner Salah is away at AFCON.

RB – Joe Gomez – Gomez started at right-back last time out and performed well, so he should start again against Spurs.

Jones keeps his place in the Liverpool midfield

CM – Ryan Gravenberch – Gravenberch plays the holding midfield role for Liverpool against Thomas Frank’s side.

CM – Curtis Jones – Jones has become a regular in Slot’s midfield line-up, and should expect to keep starting based on his recent form.

CAM – Alexis MacAllister – The former Brighton midfielder is getting more chance to attack in Salah’s absence.

Szobozslai starts in Salah’s position

LW – Florian Wirtz – Wirtz looks to have more of an increased role in the Liverpool attack now that Salah has gone.

RW – Dominic Szobozslai – The Hungary international has arguably been Liverpool’s best player this season.

ST – Hugo Ekitike – Ekitike has scored four goals in his last two Premier League games for the Reds, and should continue to start ahead of Alexander Isak.
