Premier League action returns this weekend with a huge clash between Tottenham and Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Reds have dominated recent encounters, winning both league games last season by scorelines of 6-3 and 5-1. Spurs have managed just two wins in their last 25 league meetings with the Reds.
Arne Slot’s side head into the game in confident mood after back-to-back wins over Inter Milan and Brighton, keeping clean sheets in both. Liverpool sit seventh in the table, two points off the top four. Tottenham, meanwhile, are under pressure after a 3-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest left them 11th, with just one win in their last seven league matches. Thomas Frank’s side have struggled at home, losing 10 league games there this year.
Liverpool have officially confirmed that they will wear their red home kit for Saturday’s match, with the goalkeeper set to play in green.
