According to Brenden Nunes of Sactown1140, the Kings say that Sabonis continues to progress through the current phase of his rehabilitation for a partial meniscus tear in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in approximately 4–5 weeks, based on his clinical progress.
In 11 appearances this season before his injury, Sabonis averaged 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in around 33 minutes per game.
With Sabonis out of the rotation, the Kings are currently sitting 13th in the Western Conference with a 6-21 record.
