Ex-Chelsea man Didier Drogba came up late in the video, and he originally put the striker in the ‘goat’ category.

However, he explained that he put Drogba in there because the interviewer had not mentioned Salah.

But the Liverpool forward was the final player named, with Adebayor then selecting him ahead of the Ivorian and saying, ‘for me, Mo Salah would have to be the goat’.

The ex-Spurs man also gave his thoughts on Sadio Mane, putting the winger in the ‘legend’ category.

African players with most Premier League goals

Mane scored 111 Premier League goals in 263 matches during spells at Southampton and Liverpool, making him the second-highest African goalscorer in the competition’s history.

Salah, as expected, sits top of the list with 190, the fourth-most of any player overall.

Drogba takes third place, having found the back of the net on 104 occasions.

Adebayor is fourth, with 97 goals scored for various clubs in the English top-flight.

Former Middlesbrough man Yakubu rounds out the top five, having netted on 95 occasions.
