Liverpool are facing competition for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.
Semenyo has a release clause that will become active in the January transfer window and is believed to be worth around £65m.
With Mohamed Salah’s future yet to be decided, it would make sense for the Reds to be in the market for a new winger this winter.

Why Antoine Semenyo may want to sign for Manchester United over Liverpool
Fabrizio Romano has said that Manchester United and Manchester City have been in contact this week.
Liverpool are, despite a difficult start to the campaign, level on points with the Red Devils going into their meeting with Tottenham.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside outfit have largely outperformed their old rivals in recent years.

Yet, when writing in his Sportskeeda column, Paul Merson has suggested that a move to Old Trafford could be a better option because the player is likely to have more space against teams, and also due to the added pressure that would come with replacing Salah.
He wrote: “Liverpool have been linked with wanting to sign him, but is that the perfect club for him? More teams have a go at Manchester United than Liverpool and there is a lot of space on the pitch at Old Trafford.
“When was the last time Salah went one-on-one with the goalkeeper? It doesn’t happen often with teams’ strategy against Liverpool. Semenyo is a willing runner, but he enjoys space on the pitch. Even though Liverpool are a better team than Manchester United, I ain’t so sure he fits perfectly at Anfield! There will also be the added pressure of replacing Salah.”

Paul Merson predicts Tottenham vs Liverpool
Merson also spoke about Saturday’s upcoming meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.
Jamie Carragher predicts Liverpool to win, and Merson agrees, backing a 3-1 away victory in North London.
He also told Arne Slot that Hugo Ekitike needs to start ahead of Alexander Isak.
Merson wrote: “Hugo Ekitike has to start ahead of Alexander Isak in this game.
“When we look at Isak’s struggles, it just reminds us how important it is to have a proper pre-season. Liverpool could be in the top four or top five if they win, so they should play Ekitike.”
